
Louisville, Kentucky, USA artist Carter M. Webb utilizes drawing, painting, and photography to chronicle the beauty that she observes in life.
As a native of Louisville, Carter developed a love of art while very young and began taking classes with the Louisville Visual Art Association (LVAA) at age four. She attended Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary and Samuel V. Noe Middle Schools for their magnet gifted & talented and fine arts programs. Carter was a Visual Arts major at duPont Manual Magnet High School and minored in Studio Art at the University of Louisville.
Over her career, Carter has worked in various mediums, including: painting (oil, acrylic, tempera, ink, watercolor), drawing (graphite, charcoal, oil pastel, chalk pastel, chalk), photography (DSLR, film), textiles (batik, tapestry, weaving, sewing), and 3D (woodwork, whittling, metalwork, welding, plasterwork, casting, clay, pottery).
Carter's recent work portrays her travels; focusing on the cultures and landscapes that define our world.
